The NY Mets Team store, located inside Shea Stadium in Queens, NY, is a project that was inserted into the stadium built some 40 years before. Aramark Inc. is the concession contractor who capitalized on the growing popularity of team sportswear and items as well as the Mets’ 2001 World Series success by commissioning the store’s construction.  Responsible for managing the team’s retail sales, Aramark provided the stadium with an ideal addition.
